Pump service

Pump service and mechanical seal replacement

Quick answer

Pump service covers mechanical seals, bearings and couplings, alignment and checks of pump room lines. We work on building pumps, borehole submersibles and ship pumps. We work in Adana, Mersin and Hatay, and in the ports for ship pumps. Scope is confirmed in a written quote. We work on all brands.

What pump work do we do?

  • Building pumps: hydrophore (booster set), booster, circulation and drainage pumps
  • Industrial and building borehole submersible pumps
  • Mechanical seal, bearing and coupling replacement, alignment
  • Pump room lines: manifold, valves, check valves and strainers
  • Ship pumps for vessels calling at Adana, Mersin and Iskenderun
  • Motor rewinding coordination with contracted workshops

How is ship pump and motor rewinding handled?

This section is for ship agents and vessel suppliers. We remove the pump or motor on board or at the quay and take it to a contracted workshop. The workshop inspects it and proposes motor rewinding or replacement. We refit the unit and put it back into service. We coordinate the work; we do not rewind motors ourselves.

When should you call us?

  • Water leaks from the shaft or the mechanical seal.
  • The hydrophore (booster set) cycles on and off constantly.
  • The pump is noisy, vibrates or runs hot.
  • Pressure or flow has dropped.
  • A submersible pump delivers no water or must be pulled.

How do we work?

  1. 01

    Request

You send the fault or maintenance request by phone or form.

  2. 02

    First service visit and diagnosis

On the first visit we inspect the equipment and diagnose the fault with you.

  3. 03

    Written quote and report

You receive the findings and the scope of work as a written quote and report. Any extra work is listed separately.

What are our limits?

Electrical and panel faults are solved with a partner electrician.

Building interior plumbing is outside our scope. We work on pump rooms, manifolds and valve lines. This is independent mechanical service, not an authorised service agent.

Pump service and mechanical seal replacement: frequently asked questions

When should a mechanical seal be replaced?

Replace it when dripping starts at the shaft or the seal faces are worn. Dry running and misalignment shorten seal life. Bearings and alignment are checked during the replacement.

Why does a hydrophore keep cycling?

Common causes are an air-depleted expansion tank, a leaking check valve and a leak in the line. Pressure switch settings also matter. We check tank pre-charge and check valve first.

What do you check when pulling a submersible pump?

Pump body, impeller, shaft, motor winding resistance, cable and rising main. Sand and sediment at the bottom of the well are noted.

Can a burnt pump motor be repaired or must it be replaced?

Rewinding is done by contracted workshops. The workshop inspects the motor and proposes rewinding or replacement. The decision depends on motor condition and cost.
